The coloured illustrations were drawn by Pugin, lithographed by H.C. Maguire and chromolithographed by M. & N. Hanhart. "This is one of the outstanding colour books of the Victorian period." -- R. McLean, Victorian colour printing, 2d ed., p. 115.
