Description

1) Thomas Pighells of Gubsall in the parish of Thorneton in Craven bachelor and John Pighells of Wakefield grocer younger sons of Henry Pighells late of Scholes in the parish of Keighley deceased.

2) Robert Ferrand of Harden Grange in the parish of Bingley

For the consideration of £5 and articles entered into between John Holmes of Neither Yeadon in the parish of Guysley as guardian for Thomas and John Pighells and 2) dated 1 Feb 1704; 1) have bargained and sold to 2) a way or passage for carts, carriages, cattle etc. as is already converted from an ancient footway from Bingley to Harden Grange over the North west part of a wood the inheritance of 1) and now in possession of Henry Butler between a close called Graingewood Brow the inheritance of 2) and the road between Beckefoot and Crosse Yates.

And 2) to maintain certain gate stoops with their gates.
