Description

1. Robert Holdsworth of Mirfield county York yeoman administrator of the goods and chattels of his father Robert Holdsworth late of Mirfield Milne

2. William Walker late of Little Liversedge yeoman deceased

3. John Walker son and heir apparent of William Walker who died before William Walker

4. Thomas Walker of Little Liversedge gent. son and heir of William and brother and heir of John Walker.

5. Richard Fort of Little Liversedge gent.

6. John Empson of Pike (?) county York gent.

Whereas 1), by appointment of 4), and at the request of 5), has this day assigned to 6) one Indenture of Lease of 13 June 1667 made between 2) and 3) on the one part and Robert Holdsworth the father on the other; and four closes of land, two called the Wheate Royds Ing and the Wheate Royds head, the other two called the Wheate Royds; and a close called How Butts in Little Liversedge;

Whereas also 1) has, by like appointment and request, assigned to 6) one Indenture of Lease of 21 November 1585 made between 2) and Robert Holdsworth the father; and a close of land called the Ing in Little Liversedge

Nevertheless the true Intent of the Assignments is to entrust for the only use and behoofe of 5) during the Residue of the term of years in the several Indentures yet to come.
