By Roger Grene to James Armitage and John Grene, both of Thickhollins, yeomen, to the use of Roger's daughter Helen, in consideration of a marriage planned between her and Godfrey Hirst, son of John Hirst of Caulwell in Austonley, yeoman.

Property: all Roger's messuage at Thickhollins [in the graveship of Holme] with its appurtenances, but half to remain to the use of Roger and Anne his wife for the term of their lives
