Relating to the Fawkes family of Farnley Hall's estates in Wharfedale, mainly at Arthington, Burley, Caley, Castley, Farnley, Hawkesworth, Leathley, Lindley, Menston, Otley, Pool, Rigton and Stainburn and some in south Yorkshire, together with papers of the Ramsden, Ayscough, Atkinson, Gascoigne, Tomlinson, Shafto, Hawksworth, Palmes, Fairfax, Savile, Calverley and other families relating to further estates in Barkisland, Denby, Denton, Dewsbury, Draughton, Elland, Greetland, Haworth, Hollin Hall in the parish of Ilkley, Keighley, Cold Kirby, Liversedge, Mirfield, Mixenden, Otley, Ovenden, Rimington and Stainland [11th]-20th century;
