Biography or history

Little of the collection has been published, but much of the early material was transcribed by Roger Dodsworth in the 17th century, incuding some of the fragmentary medieval deeds. The text of 179 documents was published in 1947 in the Yorkshire Record Series Extra Series 5, 'Early Yorkshire Charters, Volume 7, The Honour of Skipton' edited by William Farrer and Charles Travis Clay. See also DD187. Part of this collection was previously held on DD121/add
