Description

Proposed building on current Arts Block site, sketch plans numbered 2-7, including floor plans, elevations and site plan. Design for Brotherton Hall comprising Refectory, Gallery, Kitchen, Common Room and Organ Room. Follows original Lanchester & Lodge competition design for a Great Hall but occupies site intended for Arts/Administration block. Perhaps part of Lodge's later design made on taking over the commission in 1937.Drawn by: T. A. Lodge Architect, London
