[Collector announcement]; Charles Tonkin, recorded at home in Mullion by John Wright, on the 6 December 1958; talks about work on a farm on leaving school; working with horses; fishing - Seine netting, fishing boats and method of fishing; other aspects of his working life (with mason/builder, constructing water works at Newport [?Devon/?Cornwall], bridge building and wireless station at Plymouth); shipwrecks and French wreck during World War One - items of cargo taken/found later; donkeys (and trap); changes in Mullion - new houses.
