Description
Compilation of song performances by traditional singers, copied from commercially available recordings made in various counties in England, and on the Gower Peninsula of Wales. The singers were recorded on Topic, English Folk Dance and Song Society and Leader labels. William Rew sings [unidentified], Enos White sings 'George Collins', Harry Upton sings 'Canadee-I-O', Louise Fuller sings 'The Molecatcher', Jumbo Brightwell sings 'Life of a Man'.
Harry Cox sings [unidentified], Alf Wildman sings 'Banks of the Clyde', Phil Tanner sings 'The Dark Eyed Sailor', Fred Jordan sings 'All Jolly Fellows' and George Dunn sings [unidentified]. Continues on tape LAVC/SRE/A570r.
