Cyril Poacher, recorded at home in Blaxhall on the 3 October 1974; sings 'A Broadside', 'The Bonny Bunch of Roses', 'Whitewash' [learned from his father]; talks about farm work and wages, the song 'The Barley Mow'; sings 'Joe Moggins' [learned from Spencer Lee]; sings 'Young Man from the Country' [learned from his grandfather, William Ling]; talks about the Ling brothers singing in the Ship Inn; sings 'Once I Had Plenty of Time' and 'Strolling Round the Town'.
