Description
Ceilidh/music session recorded [?in the Irish Centre/Regents pub] in Leeds- accordion, bodhran, whistle, flute and piano. Includes brief discussion with an unidentified male about Irish music (singing, mouth music) - history, reference to Oliver Cromwell; interest in Irish music, influence of the Dubliners folk group; social aspect of Irish [Centre] and performances, compared to folk clubs; unidentified male singer and female singers sing (mostly unaccompanied, one with accordion) a number of Irish songs.
