Tommy Hoyland sings 'Six Jolly Miners', and talks about the Grenoside Sword Dance. Recorded in the Shoulder of Mutton pub, Worrall, near Sheffield, on 13 June 1971. [Tr. 3]
Douglas Marsden sings 'As Pat Came Over the Hill' and 'Widdecombe Fair', both accompanied on the piano. Also recites 'Treacle Pot'. Recorded at Hope Woodlands in Derbyshire, on 6 July 1971. [Tr. 4]
Suzie Siddall and Mary Thorpe singing in one of their homes, in Fulwood, Sheffield. Includes also a recitation, a Caking Night rhyme and talk of Caking Night and touchburners. Recorded 16 August 1971. [Tr. 5]
