Schoolchildren from Grimsby [interviewed by an unidentified woman, ?in a house rather than at school] describe singing/ring games, and give examples; also, describe chasing games, nursery rhymes (sung/chanted), skipping rhymes, including Chinese skipping (elastics), French skipping; ball games; street games, hide and seek, hopscotch; singing; jokes; party games; board games. Male [?Norman Whitney] interviews schoolchildren [?in school]: descriptions and examples of dipping (rhymes), ball games, skipping (rhymes) and songs; collecting faggies [cigarette cards]; fighting games; chasing games; weather rhyme, beliefs. [Tr. 3]
