Describes ball games, 'Battle of Waterloo', French skipping (elastics), counting-out rhymes; song; boys' games; playing 'Two Ball' and 'Five Stones'; skipping rhymes, types of skipping; party games - 'Farmer's in his Den' and 'Lucy Locket'; talks about Birdsedge, the village and its inhabitants. [Informant's two young children also present.]
