Foodways: Brenda Conway, recorded in Thornaby, talks about making cheese and potato pie (learned from her mother); recording of informant making the dish in her kitchen; biographical details of the informant - family, occupations, pastimes; thoughts on the pie from her son and daughter. Bell ringing at St. Paul's Church, Thornaby (recorded inside and outside); changes called; brief interview with Hazel Stones, daughter of one of the bellringers. [Tr. 3]

Written on tape box: 'Comments by Hazel Stones, Mark Stones and Denise Conway on how it tastes'; 'Mrs Margaret Jobson, Mrs Hazel Stones and the bell ringers at St Paul's Church, Thornaby. Sunday morning ringing session recorded inside and outside church belfry. Various changes called out and sounds of bells heard. After pause final big bell rung by Mrs Stones'.
