Description

Kathy Bond [collector's mother] relates her recollections of living in the Huyton area of Liverpool during World War Two - air raids, prisoners-of-war, transit camps, VJ Day celebrations, rationing, marriage in 1949. [Tr. 3]


Harry [Hardmand], dairy farmer during World War Two in Eccleston, near St Helens. Bernard T. Farrell served with the Royal Corps of Engineers and fought in Europe during World War 2.
