Mr. J. F. Bond [collector's father] talks about the experience of World War Two in Liverpool; Army volunteer (training in Perth) - posted to Normandy, through Europe to Berlin; riots in Trieste; his youth in the Army Cadets; air raids on Liverpool; Army related anecdotes; food. [Tr. 1]
Army related anecdotes - food; rations, attitudes to soldiers (at home and abroad). Collector's mother relates Army story, originally told by her husband; husband tells same anecdote (true story); collector relates same story as known by him. [Tr. 2]
