Description
Copy of a photograph dating from the early-20th century, of a view looking across a body of water towards the head of a quarry shaft and work sheds at an unidentified location. Hauling machinery(?), set on timbers, is clearly visible. Quarry workers stand in a line in front of the machinery to the left of the picture; the quarry manager/foreman, in smart dress with a top hat, stands to the right of the picture.
