Description
Luck stone and horse shoe hung on the wall near to the front door of a house at Coleby Hall, near Askrigg ( Wensleydale). Both objects were considered as protective and/or lucky charms, and at the time of photographing, the stone had never been removed from the house wall to the owner's knowledge. Mounted on Photo File card. With typed note on luck stones, and ms. note.
