Description
Timber buyer's scribble with blade in position for adding a straight line to two half circles to form the letter B, Low Row ( Swaledale). The scribble is an implement with a wooden handle and two blades, one sharp like a compass blade for drawing circles, and the other for drawing straight lines. Mounted on Photo File card with LAVC/PHO/P1164 and LAVC/PHO/P1166. With ms. notes. Informant: Robert Hunter of Castle Bolton.
