Description

Iron Age beehive or collared quern stone, for milling grain. Found in fields near Bolton Castle, Castle Bolton ( Wensleydale) by Mr. Jim Peacock. Mounted on Photo File card with LAVC/PHO/P1134. With ms. note and catalogue details in the hand of Werner Kissling.
