Description
Detail of wheel of metal tub/car from the Victoria Level of Old Gang Mines ( Swaledale), and lever/braking implement. These items were found by Mr. Lawrence Barker of Healaugh . The metal tub/car would have been drawn along rails by a horse to remove the ore from the mine. Mounted on Photo File card. With ms. catalogue details in the hand of Werner Kissling.
