Detail of hands of informant Jim Blades, twisting horse hair tops to make a 3-yard fly cast for four flies, sitting on a wooden box outside a dwelling house in Hawes ( Wensleydale). Mounted on Photo File card with LAVC/PHO/P0420. With typed notes on making the fly cast (for trout fishing), based on information quoted by Jim Blades.
