Description
Thatched side-building at crofter's blackhouse, restored and in use as part of the Skye Museum of Island Life, Kilmuir, Isle of Skye. Hay sledge(?) and cartwheel propped up against front wall. Mounted on Photo File card with LAVC/PHO/P0108. Includes a reference to LAVC/FLF/3/7/5, a file which includes information on building techniques including thatching.
