This subseries contains items relating to children's games and pastimes, and includes Catherine Wellsted's study of children's lore, language and games in Nottinghamshire; newspaper articles on playground rhymes in Bradford; Institute of Dialect and Folk Life Studies student surveys of children's games in Leeds; and various items on games played both with and without special equipment.
