This file contains three photocopies of Maclean and Sanderson's paper, consisting of a collection of riddles compiled from fieldwork undertaken in Shetland in August 1954, and published in 'Scottish Studies', volume 4 (1960), pp. 150-186. The fieldwork was undertaken by either Maclean or Sanderson (not both).
