Description
This file contains papers produced as a guide to an excursion organised for the British Association for the Advancement of Science's Leeds Meeting in September 1967. The excursion took place on 3 September 1967, and included visits to traditional farm buildings at Addingham Moorside, Kilnsey, Kettlewell, Conistone and Drebley. The papers include brief descriptions of the places visited, a photocopied ms. map of the route, and photocopied ms. diagrams of the floor plans of cottages at Club Nook Farm, near Drebley, and a cowhouse at Kilnsey (both by Stewart Sanderson and Wille Brunk). Also includes a photocopy of a sketch of the lintel at Home Farmbarn, Halton East, by J. Dent, October 1967.
