Description
This Ph.D. thesis comprises an Introduction, and chapters on the symbolic and magic uses of plants in the procreation of children in Greece, the begetting of male offspring, the causing of sterility, and plants for promoting a quick birth and easy delivery. The photographs show plants referred to in the main body of the thesis.
