Description

This file contains printed maps produced following excavations at a settlement in Russekeila, Spitsbergen Island, Norway. Brunk appears to have been interested in the architectural aspects of the settlement. Although apparently acquired by Brunk during his assistant lectureship at the Institute of Dialect and Folk Life Studies (IDFLS), the maps seem to have been produced at an earlier date. The maps are as follows:

- Map headed Russekeila. Oppmålning Aug. 1955 av P. Simonsen. 2 copies, 1 labelled in ms. by Brunk, Plan 1.

- Map headed Møddingens läge till strandzonen tvärsnitt SO-NV (Profil I-II). 2 copies, 1 labelled in ms. by Brunk, Plan 2.

- Unheaded map showing the floor layout of an excavated building at Russekeila. 2 copies, 1 labelled in ms. by Brunk, Plan 3, and 1 with Brunk's ms. notes.

- Map headed Kapp Starostin. Detaljkarta upmätt av Peter Manneke, Michael Müller-Wille, 13 aug. 1960.
