Part 13 includes editor's preface signed "J.B.R." (confirmed in Osborne as Joseph Benjamin Rundell). With list of illustrations and index in Part 13. Note at end of preface suggests this is third edition.

Inscribed M.R. Brooke-Pechell rebound 1887 on front free endpaper. Presentation inscription from [Sir] Paul Pechell to his niece Georgina Dobree (1937) on front pastedown.
