Description
Walls studied Medicine at Leeds University and graduated in 1940. In 1940 he was appointed as a demonstrator in Anatomy, although he resigned from the post in 1941. He became a lecturer in Anatomy in 1949 and was appointed a Senior Lecturer in 1959. He retired in 1982 but became an honorary lecturer in anatomy until 1998. In 1983 he was made a Life Fellow of the University. He was the joint author of "A History of the Leeds School of Medicine; one and a half centuries", 1982.
