Folder 1 - Contains many papers on the woollen, textile and iron industries in Yorkshire. Includes copy of wages at Whetley Mill in 1876, shareholder report for Lister and Co 1933, typed notes on the 'origin and progress of Lowmoor Iron Works', a notebook entitled 'Extracts Woollen Industry, Leeds Mercury - 1799', letters and reports from the 'Yorkshire Boiler and Steam Users Company Limited' (c.1877). Also contained are references for W.B. Crump and a letter from his daughter to the Department of Economics in 1950.
Folder 2 - Includes news cuttings of articles by W.E. Haigh on place names in Huddersfield, W.B. Crump's handwritten notes, pamphlets on the cotton trade and woollen industry in Leeds and Lancashire.
