Description

Comprises a letter on two sides of a leaf of paper from Nicolas Fatio de Duillier to Sir Isaac Newton about a young man who may be a suitable servant for Newton. The paper has been folded to create an envelope shape and is addressed to Newton at Trinity College, Cambridge. Also includes a manuscript note about the provenance of the letter and two transcriptions of the letter, one written and one typed. Nicolas Fatio de Duillier (1664-1753) was a Swiss mathematician and a a close friend of Isaac Newton.
