Description
Comprises accounts of visits to Highflatts Meeting by various people including William Sowerby and Isabella Harris of Ackworth, William Earnshaw and Dinah Woodhead of Wooldale Meeting and also Charity Cooke from South Carolina, William Jackson from Pennsylvania, David Sands from New York and Mary Swett from New Jersey in the United States of America. A piece of paper with '27' printed on it is pasted to the front cover. The cover comprises a print showing various caricatures printed and sold by William and Cluer Dicey in the mid-eighteenth century. 'Joseph Woods Book' is written in ink on the inside front cover.
