Description
Full-page miniature depicting a burial service, defaced in the Reformation period and partially repainted much later. A priest stands at the altar, four clerics stand at the side, and six mourners, clad in black cloaks and holding candles, stand around the coffin. Full bar-frame borders in gold and blue/rose, and a full floral border with large flowers and acanthus leaves in blue, rose and green, and with white shading. Hairline tendrils decorated with small gold balls with coloured lobes.
