Description
This full page miniature shows the Virgin Mary holding the Christ-Child between pillars within a classical arch. Above them God the Father is blessing and holding the orb. On either side of him is a red seraph, and there is a cherub with red wings in each of the four corners of the design, holding flowers and fruits. The golden tablet in the middle has a foliate initial infilled with flowers and the first words of the Hour.
