Description
The full-page miniaiture shows Christ risen from the dead standing on his tomb, blessing, and holding a tall cross. He is surrounded by astonished guards and soldiers. The three Maries are on the right, and a city at the back. Another scene possibly shows Mary Magdalene buying ointment. The border has birds, pinks, strawberries, roses, monkeys, speedwells, and fabulous monsters.
