Description

The arched miniature depicts King David kneeling in prayer in a private chapel. A book is open on the table, and David's harp leans against the wall. God the Father appears to him at the top of the miniaturel. The border is decorated with a frog, thistles, strawberries, periwinkles, speedwells, campanula and acanthus leaves.
