Comprises letters and cards from the author, teacher and broadcaster, Charles Causley to Mick Gidley, Emeritus Professor of American Literature at the University of Leeds, and a copy of the essay 'Causley's Church Poems' by Paul Goetsch.
Biography or history
Charles Stanley Causley, CBE, (1917-2003) was a Cornish Poet and writer. He contributed poems and articles to the Listener and London Magazine. In 1958 he was made Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
