- 1 typescript letter from J.L. Wade at Wade and Co. solicitors regarding the E.C. Gregory Trust Award (29 March 1961) and 1 typescript letter from Registrar J.V. Loach at the University of Leeds (3 June 1961);

- 3 typescript letters from Charles Monteith at Faber and Faber to Hill regarding the Faber Memorial Prize (17 April 1970 - 23 April 1970), and 2 cc typescript letters from Hill to Montieth (22 April 1970 - 3 May 1970);

- 1 typescript letter from R.M. Ritchie at Trower, Still and Keeling to Hill regarding the Hawthornden Prize (5 May 1970), and 1 cc typescript letter from Hill to Ritchie (6 May 1970); held with Hill's ms transcription of the press release for the Hawthornden Prize;

- 1 typescript letter from G.R. Davies at the Booksellers Association to Hill regarding the Whitbread Prize (27 September 1971); held with an invitation card to the luncheon for the Whitbread Prize;

- 1 typescript letter from J.M. Patterson at the Royal Society of Literature to Hill regarding the Heinemann Bequest (12 April 1972), and 1 cc typescript letter from Hill to Patterson (16 April 1972);

- 1 typescript letter from Michael Mackenzie at the Poetry Society to Hill regarding the Alice Hunt Bartlett Prize (18 May 1972), and 1 cc typescript letter from Hill to Mackenzie (19 May 1972);

- 1 typescript letter of congratulation from André Deutsch at André Deutsch publishers to Hill (22 May 1972);

- a photocopy of a press clipping regarding the award of the Duff Cooper Memorial Prize to Hill (Evening Standard, 28 November 1979);

- 8 items of correspondence between correspondents at the American Academy of Arts and Letters and Hill regarding the Loines award including 1 typescript letter from John Hollander to Hill (28 February 1983), 1 cc typescript letter from Hill to Hollander (9 March 1983), 4 typescript letters from Margaret M. Mills/Mills's assistant to Hill (15 March 1983 - 29 March 1983), 1 typescript letter from Librarian Casindania P. Eaton to Hill (15 March 1983), and 1 cc typescript letter from Hill to Eaton (21 March 1985) with copies of his enclosures; held with a clipping regarding the American Academy of Arts and Letters awards, a copy Hill's form regarding the Ceremonial, a typescript of the American Academy of Arts and Letters citation for Hill's Loines Award, information about the American Academy of Arts and Letters and its awards, a programme for the 1983 Ceremonial, and a copy of the catalogue for the 1983 awards exhibition;

- 1 typescript letter from Harry Ford at the Ingram Merrill Foundation to Hill regarding the Ingram Merrill Award (17 July 1985), 1 cc typescript letter from Hill to Milton Maurer at the Ingram Merrill Foundation (25 July 1985), and a copy of a letter from the Foundation to Hill (2 August 1985);

- 1 typescript letter from Ronald Warwick to Hill regarding the Commonwealth Poetry Prize (19 September 1986), an ms copy of a letter from Hill to Warwick (30 September 1986), 2 press clippings referring to Hill's decline of the award (Evening Standard, 3 October 1986 and Observer, 5 October 1986), 1 typescript letter from Humphrey Price at Penguin to Hill (8 October 1986) accompanied by a draft of Price's letter to Peter Hillmore at the Observer with Hill's ms revisions, and 1 cc typescript letter from Price to Hillmore (9 October 1986).
