Description

The story was first published as part of a long serial, entitled Mary Lawson, by Eugène Sue, in the London journal, from November 9th, 1850, to February 8th, 1851.


Possibly an earlier version of Charlotte Brontë's "Jane Eyre." Written circa 1844 and published as the work of Eugène Sue.
