Vol.1 dated 1710; vols 2-7 dated: 1711; vols 8-9 dated: 1712.
Each volume has a separate titlepage. List of subscribers at the end of vols 2-9. Vol.4 is in two parts, the second part published "from Mr. Burton's transcript in the Bodleian Library". Vols 7-8 are in two parts, the second part published "from Mr. Stowe's transcript in the library of Robert Davies". With plates of antiquities, illustrations of artefacts in the text.
Includes additional miscellaneous pieces. "A discourse concerning the Stunsfield tessellated pavement" by Thomas Hearne in vol.8 was issued separately. "A tale of two swannes" in vol.5 and "An account of some Roman urns" in vol.8 were possibly issued separately.
