Description

With a second, engraved titlepage, by Willem van de Passe. Frontispiece portrait and illustrations engraved by Friedrich van Hulsen. Title within double line border, text within border. Headpieces, initials.


The engraved titlepage is found in two states: 1. with motto "qvis sicut Iehouah in fortibus" and a crown on Deborah's shield; 2. with motto "qVIs sICVt tV DoMIne In fortIbVs", and a phoenix on Deborah's shield.


Pages 211, 213, 227 and 235 are misnumbered 111, 113, 127 and 135.
