Description
According to the printers' preface, the text of this edition follows that of the Sixtine edition of 1587; the title-page, by its identical wording, suggests that it is reprinted from the edition published Glasguæ: Ex Prelo Academico... 1822.
The first 6 words of the title are in Greek script.
Contents: v. 1, p. [v]-xii, printers' preface, p. [xiii]-xxxv, "Joannis Pearsoni præfatio parænetica"; p. [1]-667, Genesis - 2 Kings; v. 2, 1 Chronicles - Malachi. (Both prefaces are in Latin; the Greek text is printed in a single column, not divided into verses, with the verse numbers inserted in the text).
