Description
Set of annotated draft copies of music manuscripts for future publication. Annotated typewritten notes accompanying Overtures 5 & 6 state "These six overtures were published by Walsh on 22 April 1745... ". References are made to the publishers parts held by the British Museum (g.99) and the British Musem's copy of Greene's harpsichord arrangement (Hirsch IV.1606 a.) both of which were printed for I. Walsh, in Catharine Street, in the Strand, 1745. The notes are dated: Falmouth 1969, Richard Platt.
