A continuation of John Stevens' abridged translation, published in London in 1718 (under the title: Monasticon anglicanum, or, The history of the ancient abbies, monasteries, hospitals, cathedral and collegiate churches, with their dependencies, in England and Wales), of Sir William Dugdale's Latin work Monasticon anglicanum (originally published under the joint authorship of R. Dodsworth and Sir W. Dugdale, London, 1655-73).
