Description

Extra-illustrated copy, commenced in 1826 by William Turner, and continued and completed by F. Darley, who had the volumes bound by Charles Lewis in half dark green morocco, top edges gilt. At this early date it was quite possible to obtain the rarer prints, which have now either disappeared or become too costly for extra-illustrating.
