MS ownership inscription of Roger and Rachel Conningsbye, 1670, on recto of final blank of the whole volume. MS notes on Tooke, all in the same 19th-century hand, have been inserted at the beginning and end of the volume 2 leaves, on Tooke's wife and house, at the beginning of the fourth item, and facing its p.105 a fourth leaf preceding p.1 of the final item and a smaller note following the title-page of the first item. Bookplate of John Towneley [?(1697-1782)] pasted inside front cover, also printed slip with the name of Revd. Willm. Tooke (the writer of the MS notes?) [?(1744-1820)]. Two sale notices for the volume 1817 and 1819 respectively, with MS notes of date, price etc., also pasted inside front cover a further MS note relating to the 1819 sale written on Towneley's bookplate.
