Formerly in the possession of the Evelyn family, actual owner unknown. A small 20th century bookplate, initials J E , pasted inside front cover, is perhaps that of J.H.C. Evelyn. MS inscription, 17th century, on front flyleaf, referring to mention of the Pembroke family in the text above it is later pressmark and below it 1864 . MS inscription on front endpaper, apparently C.XP./ . Bound in limp vellum, slightly damaged on back cover. Lettered in ink on spine
