Biography or history
Ellis, Frederick Gordon (d 1918). Private, 6th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment, and 1st Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment, serving on the Western Front, 1917-1918, and killed in action, aged 18 years, near Bapaume, 24 Aug 1918. Previously 1st Air Mechanic, RFC (Royal Flying Corps), until 1917.
